Walbro pumps for RX7s/Miatas

I can get the Walbro pumps for $150 plus shipping (Walbro increased their prices a few months back). I can ship outside of North America, but cost will depend on shipping costs and any other strange things some countries require. USPS Money Orders are preferred, if you send a check, I'll ship 1-2 weeks later to wait for the check to clear. Canadians must use Canadian Postal Money Orders to avoid bank hassles at my end. I ship USPS Priority Mail in the US, if you want UPS, it will cost a little more, and shipping may take longer (unless you want to pay for 2Day), as UPS is less accessible to me. If you use PayPal balance/EFT payment, cash, MO, or cashier's check, there is a $10 discount. In other words, you only pay the above full price if you use PayPal creditcard funded payments.

I can now take credit cards via PayPal.com - see that site for info on paying via credit card. (NOTE: Let me know if you are funding the payment by EFT/eCheck/PayPal balance or creditcard, I have different accounts for each type of payment). If you send a personal check, expect a 2-3 week delay on shipment. USPS Money Orders preferred as payment from the US, and I am now only taking Canadian Postal Money Orders or PayPal as payment for Canadian orders. When you send payment, be sure to include a note with your address, email address, and what year/model your car is, as I also sell pumps for DSMs. Please do not send payment without checking with me first for the correct PayPal account info.

Note, the Xxxxxx above is a wellknown company that has complained about my listing their name, so it has been removed.

Walbro has kits for 86-95 RX7s (we have installed it on an 88, see Pump Installation VFAQ). They said the stock pump is already pretty good on 3Gs, but the 3G kit uses a 255lph High Pressure pump. If you want a pump, Fill out this form, and make sure you choose the correct make/model the pump is for.

Currently Walbro only has kits for 94-97 Miatas using the 190lph pump, though I can sell you a 255lph High Pressure pump if you wish. However, If you are NOT going to remove the intank inline fuel filter, I would highly recommend running the 190lph pump, as someone has noted that there may be concerns of the stock inline filter not being able to handle the 255lph pump. If you want the 255lph, it is highly recommended that you install an aftermarket fuel filter inline between the tank and engine, and remove the stock intank inline filter.

If you want a pump, fill out this form.

I only keep a max of 5 install kits in stock at any time, so I sometimes run out of them. Getting more pumps at that point generally takes several days to a week, so always check with me on my stock before sending payment.

Here is the flow characteristics of the RX7 Walbro pump. It uses the same pump as the 1G DSMs, the GSS317 standard 255lph pump.

Note the major difference in flow between 12 and 13.5 volts - it would be a good idea to wire in 10 or 8 gauge wire back to the pump wiring, and put a relay in there, so the pump gets as much voltage/current as possible.

Note that I no longer stock the standard 255lph pump, I only sell the GSS341 255lph HP ("hotter") pump that flows more at 60psi and above. This is because the 255HP flows the same as the 255 at any sane boost levels for the street, and higher at higher levels of boost, so there's no real reason to get the 255 over the 255HP, and I didn't want to stock both. The graph below is for 3G RX7 pumps, note that the standard upgrade pump doesn't flow much more than the stock pump (it's a good pump to begin with) until higher pressures, but the 255 HP pump outflows both above 60psi.

For Miatas, the GSS342 pump is used for the 255lph pump, and flow characteristics are the same as the GSS341.
