Walbro pumps for RX7s

I can get the Walbro pumps shipped out for $130 to anyone in the continental US, and about $135 for Canadians. I'm sure I can ship outside of North America, but cost will depend on shipping costs and any other strange things some countries require.

Note, the Xxxxxx above is a wellknown company that has complained about my listing their name, so it has been removed.

Currently Walbro only has a kit for 89-92s (but we have installed it on an 88, in fact the Pump Installation VFAQ was done on an 88), but the engineers said they can produce a third gen kit. They said the stock pump is already pretty good on 3Gs, but that they could build a hotter kit using the 255lph pump if there was enough interest. So, if you want a pump, Fill out this form, and make sure to note what make/model the pump is for.

Once I have enough people interested, I can order the pumps. At this time, thanks to my DSM blowing the motor yet again (not its' fault, stupid mistake on my part), I have little credit, so will only be able to order 10 pumps at a time (have to pay off the bill for the pumps when each CC bill comes in, can't let them stack up). So as I get payments in, I will order the pumps. Getting the pumps quickly shouldn't be a problem - last time I ordered pumps when the distributor was out of stock, it only took about a week for them to get the pumps from Walbro and ship them to my door. Once I have ordered 20-30, I will try to keep 5 or so at my house to minimize turnaround time.

Here is the flow characteristics of the RX7 Walbro pump. It uses the same pump as the 1G DSMs, the GSS317.

Note the major difference in flow between 12 and 13.5 volts - it would be a good idea to wire in 10 or 8 gauge wire back to the pump wiring, and put a relay in there, so the pump gets as much voltage as possible.

Note that I can get a "hotter" pump that flows more at 60psi and above for those that are interested. Walbro has also said they would be willing to design a bracket to run 2 pumps in parallel for those of you who really want to get wild with fuel flow. This will get you the same pressure and vastly higher volume as long as you have the fuel lines to handle it. The graph below is for 3G RX7 pumps, note that the standard upgrade pump doesn't flow much more than the stock pump (it's a good pump to begin with) until higher pressures, but the "hot" pump outflows both above 60psi.
