THE DSM Vendors page is here.

I have heard from roundabout ways that some people have complained about me naming parts in VFAQs. For example, my "Dave B" fuel pump VFAQ (and others in the future). This page is here to set my side of the record straight...

I will not discriminate against ANY DSM vendor on these pages. I will try to be fair to all. On the example of fuel pumps (yes, pumpS, plural, there are 2 pump VFAQs), I titled one "Dave B fuel pump", even though this pump can be gotten from just about every DSM vendor out there. So why did I title it the Dave B pump? Quite simply, because I bought it from Dave B.

So in the future, you will see other vendors listed in VFAQs (more than already listed, such as DaveB and Archer), and now you will KNOW that the reason why is simply that that is where I got those parts, not that I have a specific affiliation with them.

I may soon start selling certain parts of my own, designed by ME, for 90 AWDs in particular. They may fit other cars too, but I won't know that until they are tried, as I don't have access to all 1G cars. I would certainly design parts for 2G cars, IF I owned one, and could mess with it whenever I had free time. But I don't, at least not now, so 2G parts will have to wait. Once I do start selling parts, I will NOT put up huge banners in the VFAQ site, I will NOT mention my "shop" more than others (if I do, bug me about it, so I can fix it), and I will continue to list other shops names on parts I buy from them. I want the VFAQ pages to be as free from advertising as possible. The MOST advertising I expect to have is a link to my vendor's page list, with the exception of local shops with no WWW access, as a service to BAD members.

Enough rambling - if you are still confused on my point of view here, feel free to Email me and discuss it with ME, not others.
