There are two main places to tap in a boost gauge:
The fuel pressure control solenoid is located on the drivers side firewall next to the brake fluid reservoir (see illustration). On my '91 GS-T, the hose going to the top of the fuel pressure solenoid has a blue stripe on it (yours may differ). If you trace this line, you will see that it leads to the end of the fuel rail. It is the other vacuum hose attached to the fuel pressure solenoid that we are going to tap. It is a solid black line (below the blue-striped line) and if you trace it, it leads to the center of the intake manifold. On the solenoid end, it is actually already cut and connected together with a plastic joint. I simply removed this joint, put in a plastic 'T' and you have your tap. Readings
