To reset a 2GT ECU is really easy. Just follow these steps:
1. Pop
the hood and locate the fuse/relay box behind the passenger-side headlight.
Open the relay box cover.
2. There
are two 10A fuses on the lower left hand side of the relay box--one is
for radio and the other is for interior lights. These two fuses are
held together by a yellow "bracket." Just pull these two fuses out,
wait for about 5 seconds, and then plug them back in. That's it!
This works because the radio fuse also provides memory back-up power for the ECU, in addition to providing the memory back-up power for the radio (your clock/station settings). Removing that fuse for just a few seconds will erase the ECU's volatile memory (and reset it) without losing your favorite radio station settings. 8^)
