Please note that there is NO ground for the radio on the wiring harness. The factory radio is grounded by its frame. You can ground your aftermarket radio to any screw in the radio compartment that screws into the metal part of the dash structure. If your aftermarket radio stays on a few seconds after turning off your ignition, this is normal. DSM uses a capacitor to filter the power supply, and this acts like a battery, briefly keeping the radio on. This affects radios that use the switched wire only to turn on, getting their operating power from the constant power wire. |
